Three males in Plymouth, MA
 
 Three boys - one tan, one black hooded, one black berk - are in need of a new home, as their owner feels they may pose a threat to her new baby. The rats are cage-agressive and have been agressive to each other, so they are each house seperately and may be adopted individually. Two Older Girls in Billerica, MA
Two female rats are in need of a new home due to their owner's allergies. Penelope is cream-colored, Cindy is brown hooded, both are under 2 years old. They are friendly, but have not been handled frequently due to their owner's allergies. Penelope has a small growth between her front legs, they are otherwise healthy. Their cage can accompany them to their new home, and transportation is readily available within a reasonable distance of Billerica, MA

Two Girls in Norwood, MA
 
A rat owner recently moved to a new apartment that does not allow pets, and his two rats are in need of a new home. Buku and Ula are identical PEW rats, healthy and friendly, and both about a year old. Their cage can accompany them to their new home. They are currently located in Norwood, MA.

A rat owner has found herself with a bit more than she can amanage after rescuing a group of 14 rats from a bad situation. A few rats are in need of new homes -

 Lone Male in Syracuse, NY
 
A blue blazed rat was dropped off at a petstore, and was lucky enough to avoid being sold as snake food. Unfortunately, he did not get along with his cagemate in his new home. He is shy with people, but healthy, and appears to be over a year old. 14 rats in Columbia, NJ
A group of 14 tan & white rats is available for adoption in Columbia, NJ.  A pair of rats that had been adopted from a shelter surprised their new family with a litter of twelve, and unfortunately it is not possible for them to care for so many animals. 17 Rats in East Brunswick, NJ
 
A rat owner has found that she is no longer able to provide adequate care for her 13 pet rats. All are in good health, and about a year old.

Three female rats are up for adoption as their current owner no longer has time to care for them. Bridget, Stain, and Amber are healthy, all are brown hooded. Two are friendly, but one is skittish.  Transportation is available within 45 minutes of Lawnside, NJ. Four Older Males in RI  (6/29/08)

A rat owner has found she no longer has time for her pets and would like to find a new home for them. Two are two years old, a blue dumbo named Remy and a black hooded named Corona. The other pair is about a year old, one siamese and one black. These two were rescued after being abandoned in a box in a local park. All are healthy and friendly, and transportation is available within a reasonable distance of Warwick, Rhode Island.

A family of rats is in need of a new home as their owner will soon be going away to college and cannot take them along.
Sunny- dumbo odd eyed tan with blaze
Jezebel- pure black dumbo with white feet
Lux- black capped

2 Females in Horsham, PA
 
A rat owner needs to find a new home for her two rats as she no longer has enough time to devote to their care. The girls are about seven months old, one is black hooded and the other is beige hooded. They are healthy, and their cage and supplies can accompany them to their new home. Shelter Rats in VT
Ratsalot Rattery & Rescue in Rutland, VT has a large group of rat currently available for adoption. Their previous owner was living in a van and was unable to maintain care for so many animals in her situation. All are friendly, playful, and healthy, transportation may be arranged within a reasonable distance. The following rats were available as of 2/07:
5) 3-4 month old Pew males
4) 4-5 month old Pew males
4) 2-3 month old grey capped/variegated males
2) 2-3 month old black capped/variegated males
2) 2-3 month old Pew males(one is small was the runt)
5) 6-8 month old Pew females (these were the mothers)
9) 4-5 month old Pew females
8) 2-3 month old females (a few grey/black heads)


 
Surprise Babies in ME
 
Thanks to a few surprise litters, there are a whole bunch of rats available for adoption in Houlton, ME. The rats were born July 2007, they are grey, black, some hooded, some self, and some rex!
